Foxboro, MA – The South Shore Kings are excited to announce NCDC Forward Corwith Simmers has made his commitment to play college hockey at Hamilton College!
Simmers, a native of Hailey, ID, spent 3 years at Kimball Union Academy. He helped the Wildcats to an Elite 8 Title in 2024. He was team Captain his senior year. Corwith joined the Kings back in early November. He has recorded 3 goals in 5 games thus far.
“During my short time with the South Shore Kings, every moment has been nothing short of exceptional. I am overly impressed by the team’s strong bond, the dedicated coaching staff, and the outstanding facilities. Each day, through the hard work of the coaches and my teammates, I feel myself improving not only as a player but also as a person. This is truly an environment where I can thrive and be my best self; the competition both on and off the ice makes every day more rewarding. The experience has given me a whole new outlook on junior hockey, for which I am extremely grateful. I look forward to the rest of the season here, and I am thrilled for my next four years at Hamilton!” – Corwith Simmers
“Corwith has been a great addition to our hockey team. His hockey sense and stick are both separating skills that will allow him to have success at the next level. He is a reliable 200 ft center that plays winning hockey. I look forward to watching him succeed at the next level.” – GM/Head Coach Tyler Holske
Simmers will join former South Shore Kings NCDC defenseman Zach Walsh at Hamilton College next fall!
Hamilton College is a proud member of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC).
Congratulations to Corwith and his family on this outstanding accomplishment!
