The South Shore Knights program is a foundational youth hockey initiative designed to introduce young players to the sport in a fun, supportive, and skill-focused environment. Operating out of the Foxboro Sports Center, the Knights offer both in-house development programs for ages 5–8 and competitive teams that participate in the Eastern Hockey Federation (EHF). With experienced coaching and age-appropriate instruction, the Knights help players build confidence, learn the fundamentals of skating and hockey, and develop a lifelong love of the game all while progressing toward higher levels of competition within the South Shore Kings organization.

The South Shore Kings Mite Development Program provides young players (typically ages 5–8) with a fun, supportive introduction to hockey while building fundamental skills that set the foundation for future success.
Designed for athletes who have progressed beyond learn-to-play, the program emphasizes skating mechanics, puck control, passing, shooting, and on-ice awareness in age-appropriate practice and small-area game formats. With experienced coaches and a focus on development over competition, our Mite players enjoy frequent puck touches and meaningful ice time that boost confidence and foster a lifelong love of the sport as they prepare to move up within the South Shore Kings organization.
