The South Shore Kings USPHL Premier team is a high-level junior hockey program dedicated to developing driven, college-bound student-athletes. Competing in one of the top Tier III junior leagues in the country, the Kings provide a fast-paced, competitive environment that emphasizes skill development, hockey IQ, and accountability. Our program is built on a proven development model that prepares players for advancement to the collegiate level and beyond, while maintaining a strong focus on character, leadership, and team culture. With experienced coaching, elite training standards, and a commitment to player exposure, the South Shore Kings Premier team is an ideal destination for athletes looking to take the next step in their hockey careers.

Mike Esposito

Head Coach

Coach Michael Esposito is joining the South Shore Kings organization for the 25/26 season as the USPHL Premier Head Coach, Elite Assistant, and Head NCDC Scout.

Espo was a standout goaltender at Northfield Mt Hermon Prep, where he earned All New England and All Scholastic honors.  He played his college hockey at Brown University (ECAC) and Trinity College (NESCAC), where he was named to the Frank Marchese Award for Most Valuable Player and still holds the Trinity record for most saves in a game.  He began his coaching career as an assistant at NMH prep, where he was also the Athletic Coordinator for Admissions.  He later was the Head Coach at Tilton Prep, an assistant at Roger Williams University, and coached several years of junior hockey with the CT Chiefs and CT NorEaster EHL, Premier, and AAA Academy teams.

In addition to a wealth of hockey experience and coaching connections, Coach Espo also played competitive golf in college and held several high-level jobs in the corporate world.  He is excited to work with present and future Kings to aid them in their hockey development and prepare them for life beyond hockey.

Tyler Sullivan

Assistant coach

Tyler is a former South Shore Kings player having spent four seasons between the U18 and Premier teams. After leaving the Kings he would go on to play ACHA hockey at Adrian College where he graduated with a degree in exercise science and athletic training. Upon graduating he began his coaching career at Bishop Feehan High School. Tyler spent 3 seasons there coaching at the Massachusetts high school D1 level.

Drew Omicioli

Genral Manager Junior Hockey

Drew will serve as the President of Hockey Operations for our USPHL teams and work alongside our NCDC General Manager & Head Coach, Tyler Holske.

Omicioli, a native of West Warwick, RI, spent the past two seasons as the U18 Head Coach at Mount St. Charles Academy. He guided the Mounties to the USA Hockey Nationals in both seasons. Prior to Mount St. Charles, he served as Head Coach with SG Cortina and HC Milano of the ALPS Hockey League in Europe from 2016 to 2019. His professional coaching career began in the SPHL coaching the Louisiana IceGators from 2014 to 2016.

Drew is a graduate of Providence College. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management. He was a standout player in his time at Providence and also served as assistant captain during his senior season. He went on to play in the AHL for the Providence Bruins and then 4 seasons in Italy.

Clay Adams

Goaltending Coach

Clay serves as our goaltending coach and is the Stop It Goaltending Director at our home facility, the Foxboro Sports Center. He is also the goaltending Scout for the Utah Hockey Club (NHL).

Clay most recently served as the Goalie Coach and Assistant Coach for the Lincoln Stars of the USHL where last season one of his goaltenders was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens and the other signed an NHL entry-level contract with the San Jose Sharks. Clay’s career started by interning with the Washington Capitals while completing his Master’s Degree from Georgetown University and then as the Director of Player Development, Goalie Coach at Bridgton Academy.

After Bridgton, he has served as the goalie coach at Stonehill College, Connecticut College, and Bentley University.

Owen Campbell

Strength and Conditioning Coach

OC graduated in May 2020 with a BS in Health and Human Physiology from Skidmore College, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During his time at Skidmore, he played four years of NCAA Division 3 ice hockey. He was named a 3x AHCA Academic All-American. He also worked as a Strength and Conditioning Intern with the other sports teams on campus.  He has been full-time with EPS since June 2020. OC was an EPS Athlete for 13 years. OC is also a published scientific author in the Journal of Exercise & Nutrition.

The South Shore Kings are proud to congratulate six members of our USPHL Premier program on being selected to compete in the USPHL Premier All-Star Event at Foxboro Sports Center from January 26–27, 2026. We are excited to recognize players Chase Petrella, Max Fleming, Mattias Signoretti, Dane Suderman, and Caleb McNulty, along with Coach Mike Esposito, for earning this well-deserved honor. Their selection is a testament to their hard work, commitment, and performance throughout the season, and it reflects the strength of our program both on and off the ice. The entire Kings organization is proud of their achievement and looks forward to cheering them on at this prestigious event.

Junior hockey players need families willing to share their homes and become a “home away from home.”  These are elite level players who are coming to our program with hopes to play at the college level and beyond. These players are between the ages of 17-20.
