Foxboro, MA – The South Shore Kings are excited to announce NCDC Defenseman London Kearney has made his commitment to play college hockey at Suffolk University!
Kearney, a native of Charleston, SC, is in his first season with the South Shore Kings NCDC team. He spent the 2024-2025 season at Mount St. Charles Academy. He has played in 16 games thus far for the Kings and has 2-4-6 line.
“My time at South Shore, though brief, has been incredibly impactful in preparing me for college hockey. After joining midway through the season, I was immediately welcomed into a competitive, development-focused environment that pushed me to elevate my game. The coaches provided me with guidance and support needed to create a college hockey player. I not only grew as a hockey player, but also as a person. The experience strengthened my discipline, accountability, and confidence, preparing me for challenges in the future. I am grateful for my experience at South Shore, as it played a key role in propelling me to the collegiate level.” – London Kearney
“London joined our team back in January. He has really strengthened our blue line. He plays an honest two-way game and is ultra-competitive. He has also been a big part of our penalty kill. Coach McEachern is not only getting a good hockey player, but he is also getting a great person. London shows up to the rink every day ready to work. He is a self-starter. I look forward to watching London succeed at the next level.” – GM/Head Coach Tyler Holske
Suffolk University is a proud member of the Conference of New England (CNE).
Congratulations to London and his family on this outstanding accomplishment!
