Foxboro, MA – The South Shore Kings are excited to announce NCDC Forward Eli Heinze has made his commitment to play college hockey at Harvard University!

Heinze, a native of Santa Barbara, CA, is in his 1st season with the South Shore Kings NCDC team. Prior to joining the Kings, he spent two years at The Governor’s Academy, where he recorded 23-31-54 in 57 career games. He was an alternate captain in his senior year. Eli lead the 2025-2026 NCDC Founders Cup Champions with 26 goals and 27 assists.

“I am forever proud to be a South Shore King. Everyone in this organization believes in one another and strives to see those around them succeed. The opportunity that I have been presented with next year at Harvard is only possible with the help, care, and selflessness of Coach Holske, Coach Drew, Franny, Sheri, Linc, Dane, OC, and my teammates. I owe them everything and can’t wait to see what the Kings family can do as we continue to chase down a championship together.” – Eli Heinze

“Eli’s commitment to further his education and hockey career at Harvard University is well deserved. I started speaking to Eli back in April, a few weeks before the NCDC Entry Draft. We spent a lot of time tracking him during his senior season at The Governor’s Academy. What has impressed me the most about Eli has been his attention to detail and how he goes about his daily routine. He is one of the first players on the ice every day and usually one of the last players off the ice. He has taken full advantage of our strength and conditioning program at Edge Performance Systems (EPS). Eli has been extremely coachable. He wants to learn. He wants to go over film after every game. His work ethic is elite. On top of being a great hockey player, Eli is an unbelievable kid. He is a culture driver and makes everyone around him better. I look forward to watching him succeed at the next level.” – GM/Head Coach Tyler Holske

The Harvard University Crimson compete in NCAA Division 1 as proud members of the ECAC conference.

Congratulations to Eli and his family on this outstanding accomplishment!
